What we collect
- Account information: email address, name (optional)
- Usage data: API call timestamps, document types, forgery scores, latency
- Payment information: processed by Stripe — we do not store card details
What we do NOT store
- Document images — processed in memory and discarded after scoring
- We store only a SHA-256 hash of each submitted image for audit purposes
How we use your data
- To provide the document verification service
- To bill you for usage via Stripe
- To improve the accuracy and performance of our models
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing alerts)
Data retention
Audit log data is retained for 90 days by default. On account deletion request, all data is deleted within 30 days.
Data location
Data is processed and stored in Supabase (AWS us-east-1). AI analysis is performed via Vercel AI Gateway.
